Video Capture / Recorder

I've been trying to use my video but it times out.

1)  Can we turn the 'auto-lock' off completely...???

2)  Does anyone know of a decent Video Capture / Recording app on Market, one that prevents the phone from locking.

just go to

settings -> Display -> screen timeout -> never

Hi,

I've already looked at this, I did think it was stange at the time but I don't have a 'Never' option.  When I go into "Settings > Display > Screen Timeout" I only have the options ..... 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 10 minutes & 30 minutes - no 'Never'.

i have made pretty long vids with my camera..

it never shuts down or timeout:smileyplain:

re you saying that every time you start video recording it times out ??

or you just want the camera on standby ??

you may use camera zoom fx...

i think it will solve the problem.i'm not sure..first download the trial version and see if that solves your problem..

I was recording a video, I heard it beep and when I checked the screen had locked and the video had stopped.  I assumed it was down to the phone locking as there was no MSGs when I unlocked the phone (memoery full etc).

I thought it was down to the Screen Timeout and I checked this (as advised by 'uliwooly-wooly') but I don't have an option for 'Never' so assuming there is a seperate fault there.

I will give it another fo with Camera Zoom FX and see what happens.

slimshaddy - do you have your Screen Timeout set to 'Never' when you are using the video...?

i just checked, i have the latest 2.3.4  and theres no option for never..
