I would like to report a problem about the video recording.If you record in places with very loud music(partys-concerts etc) the sound during playback of the video clip is very vey bad.
Please be aware this is not a fault. The microphone is designed for recording the spoken work within the volume range of the human voice under normal conversation conditions. The volume at a concert is well above this and as such you would definitely get heavy distortion of the recorded sound.

the audio recording quality in xperia V , S, ION , is really good. it hardly distorts in high volume condition. but the new XPERIA ZR audio recording quality is horrible,, while video recording
This definately IS a fault of the designers, who has NO idea of mobile phone users purposes of capturing video. Why is not mentioned in the phone manual and on the phone box, that this phone doesn´t record sound over XX dB? I wouldn´t buy it.
