vibrate and apps installation

just got my neo v 3 weeks ago and im having problem in removing its vibrate.i've already set its vibrate mode to never but still whenever i receive a message it still vibrates.how can i remove this? Also,I cant install android apps to the phone because I cannot regsiter my email address to the google site.

Kindly assist me on my phone problem.Thank you.

open the messaging app -> menu -> settings -> uncheck vibrate notification

that's quite odd

settings -> sound -> check in this menu

also

go to settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> gmail -> clear data

then try again, make sure you are entering the correct password

If what uliwooly suggest won't fix it I think that you will have to try a reset or software repair via PC Companion.
