Very bad sound video recording

Hello guys,

So, last evening I went to a concert and took some pictures and recorded a few clips to test the camera.

Wow, such bad sound of the video! I'm totally disappointed!

Are you serious? You expect a convergent device like a mobile phone to record motion in low light well, and for the microphone to not distort with concert level volume??

If you want to get decent quality illegal recordings of the concerts you attend, invest in a dedicated digital video camera.

Are your serious? Who's talking about illegal recordings? I just wanted to have a nice memory from this concert and not to record the show...

Whether it's two minutes or an entire show, it's ilegal. There's a resaon why artists state no cameras/recording devices at events. Regardless of copyright technicalities it really isn't the best conditions to be judging video and sound recording on a mobile phone. That's extremely silly.

So, again, it was just a test! I wanted to see how the camera performs in such conditions so let's discus only about the camera performance please!

I tried to get some video at gatecrasher 20 with the same results, as my old nokia n8 used to handle this with ease I never considered a sony device would be so poor. Is there a fix please help.

Hi I have the same problem, I think the microphone volume is too high, but cannot find a way to turn it down. Any ideas ?
