V cards not appearing

Dear Support Forum

I have 250 vCard files on the internal storage on my Xperia XA phone.

I want to import them into my Contacts Directory

When I want to import them, I go to Contacts, Menu, Import Contacts, Internal Storage, Local. It then searches and brings up the VCard files.

I click on one - a message comes up that "xxx will imported into your contacts shortly", then it say "Finished importing vCard" but it does not appear in my Contacts Directory.

Why is this not happening, how can it fixed and where are they saved?

Many thanks

Skimmington

Hi @Skimmington,

Welcome to the community.

Providing the vCard isn't empty, you may have the contacts filtered.

While in the contacts application, please press the 3 dots on the top right, select Filters. Tick everything in here.

After doing this, do you see your contacts?

HI Cameron T

I am still having problems with this. Ticking the filter juts ends up making them all disappear.

It is something to do with having contacts in a Google Account (which are listed in my contacts folder) and some in an Outlook Account. The Outlook Account contacts are on my phone (vCard) but I cannot find them and when I press import, it says they are importing but do not appear in the Contacts directory. I never had this problem on my previous Android (not a Sony) when all were listed (I did not even know I had two directories)
