Using Camera Flash LED as Torchlight ?

There are apps available so that we can use the camera flash led as torchlight.

Is it safe to use such an  app ? can it damage led ?

I have not tried this ! Has anybody tried ?

yes, i am using Flashlight v 1.3.5, its working fine.

Apart from using LED as torch,you have another option to view the screen in different colors.

So far i have not faced any problem with my phone
