Use PCs internet connection in the phone?

Rickard, does our Xperia L support AdHoc wifi connection??? I tried several times but my phone can not see the network, beside this my old Xperia X8 can connect and work on the same Adhoc wifi connection.

Unfortunately the Android operating system only supports infrastructure wireless Wi-Fi connections 
and does not support wireless Ad Hoc connections.

I suspect you were using some 3:rd party solution for it in Xperia X8 as it's not supported by that phone either but there are some 3:rd party solutions for it but they probably require root access.

I would configure the PC to work as a hotspot instead either using Windows or a software like Connectify or Virtual Router.

Will you suggest any Windows software to covert my PC into a HOTSPOT which will be accessible to my Xperia L?

It should work with the softwares i mentioned but i'm not sure if it works with all wireless network cards.

If you are using a laptop download mhotspot from internet. Then your laptop can work as a wi-fi hot-apot device. You can connect your xperia with that wi-fi for sure.
