USB tretching

Dear All;

I have tried to connect my pc internet over usb tethering with my xperia V... it works only for several minutes and then get disconncted even if phone is continue to connect to internet...

Can any one explain why this happens... in wifi tethering we have options to select connection activity time but not for usb tethering

i had a xperia x8 before V and every time i connected that phone to pc i had to position the cable so the pc would recognise it and once it did i had to keep the cable still, now with xperia V i connect it using the new usb cable and it works fine. So what i suggest here is:

1. check if it is your usb cable

2. check if it is your pc's usb port

if neither of these work then i don't know what the problem might be since i don't use usb tethering
