Usb storage unexpectly removed automaticly while transfering files

Hi I am facing a problem while I am transfering data from my USB Pendrive to the External Usb storage. It says " sd card unexpectedly removed " automaticly while transfering files. I tried with different pen drives but the same problem.

Can you please suggest a good file browser for USB OTG, which gives me the exact progress and also let me know I can transfer files.

However I am able to watch movies with no issues at all. It just happens when I am transfering big files. Pendrive File format is Fat32.

I am using Xperia Sola with android 2.3.7

How big files are we talking about? Since it's Fat32 you can only transfer up to 4GB files maximum.

I haven't heard about any such issue previously, anyone else that have faced it?

Try Disable the Mobile Data !! I know this sounds crazy... I used to get 'USB Storage unexpectedly removed' message on my 1+1 when used the 32GB SiliconPower OTG drive - drive me to frustration!! Tried many things like disabling Developer options, disabling ADB debugging etc. Disabling the Mobile data the OTG drive is working fine - no errors/no issues copying files in and out!! No idea what is the relation..but happy with this work around for now!!
