usb port issues

I mainly use the magnetic charger so haven't really noticed this before.

When charging with a wall adaptor via usb port, it works fine. If charging from a backup battery/12v cigarette car port, the usb head has to be constantly pushed down for the charge to start.

Tried different usb cables same problem.

Anyone else with the same issues?

Are you using original Sony Mobile chargers/cables to perform this function?

PS: Please don't force the charger under any circumstance.
