After connecting the Xperia Z2 to a genetic USB cable, suddently the USB Connectivity menu hangs and stop working.
Now, when I enter the meny Settings > Xperia Connectivity > USB Connectivity, a white screen appear, then black screen, and after a while a message "USB Connectivity is not working, would you like to close it".
I tried to remove the cache and/or the data of the app "USB Connectivity", but the same problem happens. A reboot of the phone does not helps. It is annoying because now it is impossible to switch to Mass Storage when the USB cable is connected.
I get the impression the process com.sonyericcson.ubux get corrupted if the Xperia Z2 is not plugged with the right cable. Once corrupted it cannot find the right parameters to start and hangs.
Please, can somebody be kind enought to backup his own com.sonyericcson.ubux app, and send me a link to the files?
Thank you!
Finally I solved the problem by letting the phone alone during a night... The process was hanging but processing as the amount of data reported in the app manager was increasing... Now the menu is available again... very strange...
