USB cabel problem

Hello!

Lately, I have a problem with usb cabel...almost every time I connect my phone to PC, it says it is connected, but when I try to open PC companion or put anything on the SD card, it says 'phone is not connected', or 'no disc in drive'. Firstly I thought that there's something wrong with the PC, but the same thing happened when I tried to connect it to laptop. Though, even when it says there's no disc in drive, phone still charges normally. Any help would be appreciated!

Make sure that you have selected to mount the SD card to your computer in the phone.

You should be able to set this by dropping down the status bar.

Is there another way? Nothing shows on the status bar
