Uploading Pictures

This may seem a simple issue, but whenever I connect my phone to my laptop to upload my photos and videos, it automtically uploads every single image from my phone. This includes images I have seen on my phone from various websites, game images or random screen shots. This then increases the number of images being transferred and then I spend ages trying to sort them out.

I have cleared my album of all old pictures apart from a few that I like to keep, everything else is in the background ready to be uploaded. How do I delete all these images, or stop my phone automatically uploading them to my laptop?

I've just tried to upload the photos, and it's already on 1000 images...I've haven't got this many photos on my phone!!

How are you trying to transfer your photos? Seems like the program you are using detects and transfer files that is hidden. (system and app pictures).

If you use the file explorer on your PC and go to Xperia S > Internal storage > DCIM you should find your camera pictures and can transfer them without getting other system pictures transferred.
