updating apps in google play

hello,

i can't update apps in play, however can download fresh app from it.

update window just appears downloading but download doesn't starts.

can anybody help?

did you switch gmail accounts on  your phone ? but I agree that you should repair your phone

I am having the same problem, I can download any new app but can't update any of already installed apps, have tried clearing data and cache of play store and download manager but it didn't work, also tried resetting but none worked.If u get some solution please tell me.

are those previously installed apps, added with a different gmail account?

did you sideload those apps?

No all previously installed apps are from google play store only and with the same gmail account, no other gmail account is used.
