There might not be any updates for your phone, even though the update has been released so long ago.Contact xperia care for more info:

i had the same issues with my Sony Xperia U and took me ages to finally get it updated to android 4.0.4 and having the wifi freezing on at all times even when it was off.
Sony will tell you to try using PC companion to repair phone, this works eventually after numerous attempts but an issue you may come across is that the Sony PC companion software is currently unuseable if you have a pc/laptop running windows 8.1 then the software is completely useless and sony are really unhelpful with their email responses
just a note..........recently my phone has now started automatically turning on the wifi by itself even the the wifi on phone is turned off in the settings, i sure as hellwont be buying another sony phone in future and probs wont buy sony products full stop either
