update Xperia mini pro

Since I upgraded my mini pro which has a physic azerty keyboard it changed to a qwerty- typing keyboard. So when I press the a-button I get a "q" ; when I press a "z" I get a "w".:smileyshocked::smileyangry:

How to solve?:smileysad:

I updated through PC companion (yesterday 07/06/2012),
didn't have to install anyhting.

My SI number is 1249-4820.

It was just like all previous updates,
except that I was asked to switch off the phone, hold down volume key, then plug it in, etc.

This wasn't required for previous updates.

Hi

Mine is xperia pro, I bought it online in India. I connected my phone to laptop using pc companion, it gave an indication that there is an update for my phone.

I got it updated to ICS, everything went fine, until I started typing through the physical keypad, and was quite disappointed that ICS is not recognising the right physical letters.

Mine is qwerty and it is somewhat typing in azerty.

There is a language issue with ICS  update.  I hope the SONY TEAM IS READING THIS THREAD and they might come up with quick solution.

My phone SI is 1261-5019

Hello, my problem with the physical keyboard is solved. I Just did the update a second time with PCcompagnion and got a message" repair your phone" or something like that; so I did -I was warned that my personal stuff would be erased ( so make first a backup with an app to your sd card)

I confirmed and ...:smileylaugh::smileyhappy: my keyboard was set to the original setting I bought.

Hopes it works for other folk also, let me know.
