Update problems???? Xperia arc

I was updating my lt15a when my my powered off. Now the phone will turn on for about 2 seconds showing the sony logo (sony, not the regular sony ericsson) and turn back off after showing a picture off a phone with a warning sigh above. I was updating to the 4.1.b.0.587 software when this happened. PLEASE ,      SOLUTIONS

i worked all summer to buy it and now it doesnt work because of some******* computer.

PS.: pc companion wont recognise the phone

during an update my arc failed , i sent it off to sony service who fixed the it ,

Actually, the main problem ive had is that i cant connect the phone to the pc, so that rules out any programs. I was wondering if conecting the phone in fastboot mode and trying to flash 4.1.b.0.587 with flashtool would be worth the try (the phone has a locked bootloader and no way to change that).

Im gonna give your method a try though, thanks and i hope it doesnt get bricked

PS.: If i had a warranty i would have gone to the store first thing but i think its quite obvious that that is not the case.
