While updating my sony sk17i using pc companion
it displayed error

Problem

Message:

The phone/tablet contains modified software that cannot be updated

DETAILS: Sony Update Engine Failure(error 2003 )

how to get rid of this and how to update my mobile

That means either your bootloader is unlocked or your phone is rooted and you installed modifications ( or a custom rom )
