So. I got my Sony xperia z3 today and when i opened it it said that i need to update it. So i updater. Then the phone was updating for about 15 minutes and finally started again. THEN i openet it again and started to read my messages. After 2 minutes it said AGAIN that there is an important update available so i updated it AGAIN. Then i opened it up again. And suprice suprice it said again that there is a important update to download.
It downloaded the first 2 well, then i just stopped updating it, but that update notification is annoying... how can i get it to go away?
I can download things from google store (or whatever) so it updated well (because i couldn't be able to download anything without updating)
Anyone else got same problem?
You might have missed a few small updates on your phone, that's why you got a few after each other. Are you sure they were all system updates? May be they were Sony apps updates like What's New or Support apps?
It was a system update. Not an app update.
And now i have updated this phone 7 times but the update notifications just keep coming.
It's really annoying. I have updated all tem with wifi, and there has been that update screen (black screen where is that android dude and inside him there is some scuare thing that moves around).
my xperia Z3 has been constantly prompting to update my software. i have updated it multiple times now, and it still continues to notify me to update. I have tried a previously provided solution on this forum of disabling the software centre under settings - apps and restarted, but the problem persists.
would appreciate anyone's help!
