Update not available in Mexico

In Mexico update to 4.2.2 is not available yet, is there a way to upgrade without having to wait for the phone company release this update?

You have to wait for Telcel Mexico to approved and release the update.

Phones that are sold in Mexico even without a contract with Telcel seemed to be under Telcel unless this has changed recently.
