Update in UK

When will the OS update for the Xperia T in the UK? I'm on Vodafone so according to the pinned post I should have had it in Feb!

mine arrived last week and I am on o2 in the UK so I would think vodafone should be rolling it out shortly

I wouldnt expect it any time soon. I am also in same situation, Vodafone but no update. My phone was from phones4u so I recieved a generic unlocked device.

There is a piece of software that spoofs all of the various configurations of the Xperia devices. I have been using it everyday to watch the progression of the roll out in the hope one day my device will come. However no device has had a fresh update since last Tuesday. Much as with 295 update the 199 update has also been stopped rolling out. They must have found some bugs they didnt want to continue roll out. we must wait for a new version to be developed, certified, approved and released. We are probably looking at mid to late april now for our devices.

Nobody knows, but its getting flaming ridiculous now.  You should have had a update to 0.295 some time ago on Vodafone UK.  It's a buggy form of 4.3 which never made it around the globe because 1.199 was getting ready to replace it.  Unfortunatly bugs still seem to be reported on this new one and again the update seems to have been stopped with this time only O2 in the UK getting it.  Anyone else in the UK is still officially on 4.1.  It makes me wonder if we are going to see yet another PTCRB certification before global rollout.  I can see Sony's logic in leaving area's that are still on 4.1 that way until they get the bugs out of 4.3 and have a final version.  But why update some to .295 and leave them on that while others get .199 direct or updated from .295 and some nothing at all...  Doesn't make sense at all

There is definatly a part of me that is greatful I am still on 4.1 as the poor people who got put onto 295 without even an update to 199 to fix some of the issues. I am not in a rush for updates as my device is very solid and I have no issues, it would be nice to have all the new functions Sony are brining, I dont see the advantages of 4.3 over 4.1 but the Sony addins like stamina and the camera really have me curious to get my hands on.

I tihnk this process is going to be the death knell for the XperiaT. As they push more resource into the newer and yet unreleased devices they wont have the resource to fix these bugs and this will probably play out the XperiaT ends up abandoned on 4.1, with some devices pushed to a buggy  4.3 and 4.4 cancelled alltogether.
