Update Delay

Some of my friends and even in many forums in Brazil, we are discussing why so much delay to offer the ICS update to Xperia S? For example the 1257-2781 is one of those that did not receive the update. As a Sony Lover is there any rollout delay here in Brazil? If I do it using Flashtools will I lose my warranty? Please moderators answer this question.

The roll out is currently progressing as planned. It began towards the end of June and is still currently being rolled out globally. If your handset is branded to a network, you'll need to wait for network approval also.

I'm afraid we cannot advise when each SI number will receive the update, we can only suggest that you regularly connect to PC Companion as this will notify you when you can update.

We would not recommend flashing or rooting your handset as this may void the warranty.
