Update affected car bluetooth?

Hi, I just updated my phone Xperia Arc S Lt18 which meant that it started from scratch (my mistake). So I have now replaced my calendar, contacts etc. However, I can't get the phone to pair with my car bluetooth any more! It finds my bluetooth which is  BUDDY but when I ask it to pair it does nothing. This is really irritating as it worked perfectly before the update. I can also no longer send pictures or receive them! how do I get to send and receive MMS again?

Regarding the bluetooth connection you most likely need to put the car system in some sort of pairing mode in order to get the phone and audio system to connect to eachother properly.

As for the MMS, you need the correct settings from your operator. Check Settings > Xperia > Internet settings at first. In most cases these can be automatically downloaded and installed but in case it's not working, contact your operator to get the correct settings.

The bluetooth item I have in my car is not part of the car but a separate unit. I can find it when I search for bluetooth units with my Experia but it just won't pair up any more. I follow the instructions on the bluetooth and get as far as finding the buddy connection but it won't pair up with it. Who should I conntact now? the place I baught the bluetooth unit?

The mms I've found out though my call provider.

I would really like to use my bluetooth in the car again as I often receive calls when driving and I can no longer take them unless I stop, not so easy on the motorway. 😞

I hope someone can help me. 😞
