Unresponsive touch wake up

When I leave my phone locked for a while, i double tap the screen for it to wake up, and it doesn't respond. I have to keep constantly tapping it for it to wake up. It's alright when I lock it, then tap it to unlock, it does it straight away. Is this normal?

Personally, I find this feature a little rough around the edges anyway, it works most of the time for me, but it is nowhere near as good as the same feature on the LG G3 etc. I think this is why they didn't have it as a permanently on feature.

Hi, totally agree.....it was always dubious since i bought my Z2 & i thought the 314 update would cure it but the Tap To Wake is still the same....either works first time or takes a few goes:smileyrolleyes:

I just disable it because it wakes up by it self when its in my pocket.
