Unresponsive screen

My handsets screen is not responding to any form of touch, it was was working then mid use just stopped.  The screen still works displaying everything and is refreshing.  Using the slide I can access some things but its very limited access.  Is this a known fault any solutions?

Can you reach settings menu ? try to do a settings reset or factory data reset, but remember you will loose all data on phone, if you are not able to then-

Try to enter safe mode ( press menu/option button of your phone while restarting it) and then see if you can..

if all fails then follow-

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

Thanks for the guidance, sadly though no joy, the screen is still not responsive.

was software repair successful ?

if yes then you need to get it checked at service center
