you can use the same magnetic charger with the Z1 series, Z2 series, Z3 series

You can use them, as they charging port its the same on all those devices, so you can use the same magnetic dock that works for the Z2 tablet as for the Z3 compact tablet or Z1, Z2 and or Z3 series, the only difference is how wide is the part that hold the tablet/phone

the only problem is that the Z2 tablet its 6.4mm thick and the Z3 Compact its 8.4mm, the Xperia Z2 its 8.2 mm and the Z1 compact its 9.5mm and it seems that it works just fine

understood, there's an alternative, you could buy the Xperia Z3 Compact's magnetic dock and then use it with the Z2 tablet.
