i spoke with whatsapp support team about unread counter.....they said that sony luncher issue

Talk about passing the buck - This is a app developer issue which as it's not a Sony app is something you need to take up with the developer

Do you have any other launcher, do you have a taskiller, antivirus apps? notification apps?

Yes I understand that. backup your whatsapp > uninstall it > restart your phone > re-install it

I do it as you said but no.....
I think this feature working on samsung phones only
