Hi - please could this be directed to an official Sony representative. Could you please explain what appears to be a completely unprecedented delay in releasing the Android 4.3 update for the Xperia SP. The Sony UK website clearly shows the latest firmware version as Android 4.3 and has done since mid February. Given that many other regions, and indeed at least one carrier here in the UK have had the update, what can possibly be causing this delay? This simply cannot be due to a 'phased' rollout, as there is no logical reason to withhold the update in this way.
Sorry to create yet another thread on this topic, but it seems to be the only way to elicit a response. Please can this be escalated and some meaningful response rendered on this forum?
Enjoy that you don't have in your country 4.3 upgrade because it spoils the whole phone completely ... In Poland they released this update and I already hate this company. Phone can reboot a few times in a row, losing coverage, the internet works when it wants. Overall my device is not suitable for use, in the service they said that phone works perfectly ... what a normal company releases update that breaks down literally everything ... SONY. Regards
You must have read on this forum about the bugs of 4.3. If you haven't, just browse a bit downwards and be happy. Many users have downgraded back to 4.1.
Hope you'll get a clean update when it comes.

You'd be better off giving them a call. The delay seems partly down to problems with .266 and EE rejected the first version of .192. EE are reportedly close to releasing, don't know about Sony. Give 'em a call.
Use flashtool, do it yourself. It is very simple.
You should be lucky that you didn't receive this update yet! It completely renders your phone useless!
I got fed up and flashed the Australian generic firmware. So far I seem to be one of the lucky ones, as I haven't noticed any bugs except for screen flickering (which is a bit annoying). I think it helps that I did a clean install. Good news is that I now have 4G (this was disabled in 4.1 UK generic firmware). Does anyone know whether I will get further Australia-generic firmware updates through PCC?
When the update comes. just use the sony update service, It should be fine. I am on australian one too
