I bought my Xperia S 3 months ago. I bought it in T-Mobile store FREE OF CONTRACT, that means i paid full price of this phone (530 euros).
After thinkig that it will be unlocked to all carriers and that it would have ability to unlock bootloader i was surprised that my phone was locked, had no ability to unlock bootloader and had a lot of crap from T-Mobile (apps, bootanimations etc.).
So my question is why i can't unlock my bootloader. I only bought this phone because i knew that sony was very "friendly" with develeploment on XDA and it was nice to see that. But now i see that not everyone has this oportunity to see that. 😕
I rellay hope that you can help me or you could at least give me an email where can i discuss about my problem and try to solve it.
