'Unfortunately, Camera has stopped' issue

Hi there,

I believe quite a few users have been affected by the camera app. My camera is no longer working and it shows 'Unfortunately, Camera has stopped working'. I have no idea what caused it to happen. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I also saw a few posts about this in the z3 forum but none seem to be have the solution for that.

Does it do the same in safe mode?

Hi viridis,

Yes, the same problem persists. This has also affected other camera related apps like skype or instagram. The screen is black when I tried to take a photo via instagram and I can't video skype either.

what if you clear the app data?

The same issue persists. Am not too sure what happened. Furthermore all camera related apps cannot be used as well.

@uliwooly I did a reset and nothing happened, so I decided to get my camera replaced since it's under warranty. Now I restore my tablet to my last back but my apps are all gone. Anyway to resolve this issue?
