Dear Support,
I'm from Bulgaria and last week I've bought nice Xperia P from one of our carrires M-Tel(Mobil Tel). After few days playing with the phone I've found very unusual behaviour. If you connect the phone to WIFI network(normaly I'm working in that way in Home) and leave it for approximatly 1 h without play with it, than if somebody try to call you he gets an error message that your phone is outside cavarage network, but this is not true. On the display everything seems to be fine with the coverage. I've already contact technical support of our carrier and they confirm that this is some software issue and they are working with Sony to resolve it. Do you heard for such issue with other phones? Is it country and carrier specific or there is some general issue with that release of software?
What I've done till now after reccomendation of technical support:
1. Reste to factory defaults.
2. Repair software through PC Companion.
Both operations were completed successfully but results are the same after that.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Enable Data trafic;
2. Enable WIFI networking;
3. Set WIFI sleep policy to "NONE": Settings->Wierless&Networks->Wi-Fi Settings->Advanced->WI-Fi Sleep policy;
4. Set network mode to WCDMA(prefered)/GSM;
5. Connect the phone to some Wi-Fi network, This will automaticaly supress Data usage over HSPA;
6. Leave the phone without opening any apps or play with it for approxumatly 1h;
7. Try to call from another phone.
I've also done a lot of tests like:
Set Network mode manually to GSM only, WCDMA only.
Till now it seams that in case when you set manualy to "GSM only" the phone is working as expected.
Do you have any offical information on such issue? Is it confirmed as a software defect? Do you know if development is working on it and is there any ETA when the fix will be ready?

Hi,
I've already try with reinstall/repair. McAfee was uninstalled right after the the repair. I was able to reproduce it wothout installation of any apps, and I don't have any of the listed apps like taskiller etc.
I've forgot to mention that If you stay connected to Data trafic at all time everything is working fine.
Also this seems to be some general issue here in Bulgaria mainly with Xperia S but I also found it on Xperia P.
Is it possible somebody from Sony to check if there is some offical information internally about such issue?
Best regards,
one more thing to check
