Hi MichaelDenmark,

Welcome to the community,

Do the following, Menu > Settings > Location > Mode > Remove the selection from High Accuracy to what you want. This should reset the acknowledgment.

Thanks for the answer.

It do not solve the problem. Each time I choose "location" on inside apps or via the notificationmenu, I goes til "high accuracy" and do not ask for permission to send data to Google. I want to turn off location reports, sow I do not share any location data with Google.

In a rooted phone it can be done with data > data > com.google.android.gms > shared_prefs > nlp-prefs.xml.

What type of application are you trying to minimise location data with? is it Location Services ( Google Location Services)

I do not think you understand my question

To use high accuracy, you are asked to agree to send locationsinformations to Google. By mistake I clicked that.

I want the consent dialog box to reappear, sow I can say "disagree" to share location information with Google to be able to use "high accuracy". On my old android phone where was a setting i Google settings "Locations rapport" to change it.

On my new phone this has gone. Do I really have to reset and reinstall the phone to change that option back?

Michael

You can try to remove your google account and add it back, not sure it will help though.

I understood the question. If you try as stated you will find it will again ask you to agree or disagree to the High Accuracy. Or have you ticked the do not show again box?

Okay Slightly_smiling_Face

I have ticked the "do not show again" box and I want to undo that.
