Unable to use Facebook with Timescape

Post updating to the latest version of Facebook app via play store, facebook sync is not working when used with Timescape.

It displays the error stating "Could not update from Facebook".

All the other Timescape extensions like Twitter, etc are working fine.

Team, please look into this problem and update us.

Weather widget failed to me yesterday too but erased widget from main screen and reinstalled and works fine again.

Weather problem also solved from this morning think it was a problem with weather server.

That's right, weather widget problem solved. Can't say the same thing about Timescape.

The fix from XDA devs doesnt work on Gingerbread - Xperia Play.

I'm considering that Timescape is gone for me...

Its not a question whether it would take an hour or a year to fix the issue. They (Sony) just don't care. They are so fixated on releasing new phones that they simply ignore the previous ones. Terrible support. All they do is blame facebook for the issue.

I have the same problem with my xperia S already reset or re-update the software and still the same thing. Infect I already done the reset 2 times and lead no where!!!! No clues.....no solution...

I got news from my friend,  that after FaceBook updates its web.  It won't support HTML5 that actually timescape use for updating the feeds.  Hopefully the Sony team quickly updates the Timescape for Facebook, because for other feeds, such as twitter, K-9 Mail still works fine. Cheers
