Unable to send SMS

When I try to send messages the button to press to send is there but when i press it nothing happens, it dosent send the message what so ever, my phone is top-up, there is full battery, i have already restarted it and its still the same. Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

This sounds like it would be the messaging app, as you should see the message turn in to a conversation even it it failed to send.

I suggest clearing the Messaging data.

Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Messaging > Clear Data.
