Unable to SEND email

Please help me out here! I am able to receive emails, however I cannot send any! everytime I try to send or reply, a message pops up saying "message not sent" and it just stays in the outbox.

I ditched my blackberry for the sony xperia t!! Now i'm regretting it, I really need to be able to receive and send email!

do you have a data plan? is it on all the time? which email app are you using? any taskillers or antivirus?

This is more likely an error with the outgoing server settings. I often see email clients setup using the same server settings as they have on a PC when on a phone the outgoing server settings needs to be specific to your current network provider.

I've realised that its certain accounts that won't work. Hotmail is fine, but I still have problems with aol email accounts, i've now resorted to using the 'aqua mail' app in order to send emails from these accounts
