Unable to select data when restoring information from PC companion to Phone!!!!

Somebody PLEASE HELP ME.....I was sent a new phone from SONY....after a month...to replace my old xperia Z which I had for 5 weeks! Before I sent old one, I backed up photos and contacts using PC companion. now I am not able to select what items to restore ...I can see my 2 backups...but it won't let me select them to restore back to my new phone from PC companion!!!

Save me!! Please!!!

You should be able to find the pictures somewhere on your PC, I wonder if the backup(s) is/are corrupted

Just to clarify, when you open the Backup & Restore section of PC Companion and you see the backup files, is it not letting you select the actual files or is it letting you do that but not letting you then select the specific categories in the next step?

They are there...it is just not letting me select which information I wish to restore at the screen for example...contacts, videos, photos erc

Unfortunately in this case it appears that the backup file you have is corrupt and I am not aware of any way around this sorry.
