unable to restore from backup

Hi ,

I took up backup of conatact and messages before update form version 4.4.2 to 4.4.4

after update to 4.4.4 am not able to restore my contacts using backup and restore app when i try to restore ,it prompt to enter password and i enter the correct password then it is showing wrong password because i took the backup in older version(4.4.2) .in the new version (4.4.4) new backup and restore app in installed 

please help me on this

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

An update should not change the password for a backup. If you receive this error message, it sounds more likely that you enter the wrong password. If you do not have the correct password, you will unfortunately not be able to restore the backup.
