Hi,
Yesterday I bought new Airtel nano SIM and after putting it in my Z3, I am unable to make any outgoing call or surf data.
It gives me Call Ended prompt immediately when I dial any number, the phone number is activated, the signal strength with H+ is full and sending SMS is working.
I checked with Airtel and they don't have any clue about it as this SIM works with other handsets. And my Z3 was working perfectly fine with Vodafone SIM card. Now one weird thing is that it worked for couple of calls yesterday when I put the SIM for the first time but my phone number was coming as "Private" at the receiver's end.
Any suggestions on how to go about solving this will be much appreciated.

Sometimes and this is network dependant if they suspect the phone to be lost or stolen as in this case with change of Sim card and provider then the origonal network can and some will block the phone untill you have rang them and proven it's not the case or if you have bough this 2nd hand then the origonal seller may have stopped paying the contract bill and thus the phone is blocked
Interesting, so you mean that due to some bad data in their system my phone number is being considered as someone's lost/stolen number. Thanks for the tip, I will check with them tomorrow morning...
Not your number but the phone - check with the network that the phone had the previous sim card in it
