Unable to install device driver software

my sony z2 is new and when i connect to my laptop, it doesnt sense it. it says that it was unable to install the device driver software and failed. I tried going to device manager and update the software (DS6503) but said that access is denies. I have been stuck here for a few days. 

Is there any solution to this?

I also have sony pc companion but it does not sense my phone

Tried them all none worked.. I have a feeling it has to do with my laptop..

Yes then it tries to install it then it says installation failed
