Unable to charge Xperia SP

Hi,

I just started having this problem about 2 hours ago. 

I tried almost everything I could (with the exception of factory reset):

-Changing cables

-Changing wall sockets

-Changing to a different adapter

-Using a portable charger

-Pressing and holding the off button below the battery (the one that causes the phone to vibrate three times)

And I supposed I should mention that: 

-Plugging phone into computer doesn't work at all (computer does not detect the phone)

-Orange LED indicating charging sometimes flashes on for less than a second (while plugged into wall socket)

I really don't know what to do any more. I would prefer to not take the phone down to the repair centre since I don't have other phones that can make use of WhatsApp.

Did anyone encounter this type of problem before? 

If there's a fix for it, I would like to know.

I have a post near the top of forums, i too had the same problem with charging the only way i could charge was to do the reset button but DONT turn on phone.....plug into charger and it should charge, i also could not get it to charge via pc. If you can back up all you can i myself couldnt as phone was not turning on.  You may need to do a complete reset like in my other post. I did this yesterday and my phone is working, charging etc. you maybe lucky and once charged its fine. Goodluck hope this helps
