Ubuntu connection

I cannot connect my mini pro to my computer to transfer my photos and music, I am running ubuntu, so this phone so far is pretty useless without this important facility. Anyone know how to get the computer to see it ?

If you have Xperia mini pro (SK17i) - Try to change the USB connection mode to MSC. Go to settings > Sony Ericsson/ Xperia > connectivity > USB connection mode > MSC. Try to connect to your computer again.

If you have Xperia X10 mini pro (U20i) - check that you have the latest update for the phone. You can update the phone with a Windows PC and the program PC Companion:
