typing massage problem

hello there.. need your help..my u have some problem during typing message...i need to toch the letter 2 or 3 times for the letter to comes out.  this happens for this past 3 days until now. i have try to restart but it seems didnt change. im using ginger bread. sorry for poor english.

There could a few causes for this, however please try this first:

Main Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Xperia Keyboard > Clear Data.

nope. im just using xperia keyboard...ive try clear the data as u said...but the same problem still happen

Does that problem also occur in browser or just at messaging?

the problem happens to all app that use keyboard.. it also happen when i want to dial phone number. it also happen when i want to scroll down. im using screen protector..

Given the nature of the problem and what you have tried to do to fix the problem I would advise running a repair to reload the firmware.

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

thanks sam for your time...and how if i update to 4.0 because right now im running GB. can the problem solve and what is the consequences....im not install many apps just 1 game n other are whatsapp n etc...
