Turning off the start up sound.

Please help, I can not for the life of me figure out how to turn off the start up sound. It's so annoying when I start my phone and it makes that annoying sound.

Is your phone locked to a carrier/network branded? it shouldn't make any sound

it's a T-Mobile phone. I've been able to turn off every other sound but the start up one. This is the only phone I can not figure out how to turn it off.

That sound most likely was added by T-mobile, there's only one way around it, to flash your phone, this could void your warranty but you can always create a backup of your current firmware then flash your phone if anything you can flash back

I've never had this problem with any of my Samsung phones and they were also from T-Mobile, but this Sony phone....

Flashing your phone its quite easy plus you get the latest updates sooner without waiting for T-mobile to approve and release the update
