I put my phone on charge last night whilst it was on, I woke up this morning and the phone was off but the yellow charging light was still on. It has been unplugged since this morning and the light is still on. The phone won't turn back on, tried pressing vol down and power still nothing. I've only had the phone a month today.
Went into a phone shop (not the one I bought it from) and was told the battery may have popped from overcharging (Which I don't do). Could this be the case
Someone Help!?
Just tried to plug into PC Companion and my laptop knows there is an andriod device connect but the phone does not connect.
That's a HUGE lie, you can't overcharge the phone, once it reaches 100% it will stop charging.
Try this
Connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2 to 3 hours > report back
I did this and nothing happened so I unplugged the phone overnight. The next morning the charge light had gone off so I plugged the phone back in and after charging for 5 minutes turned straight back on and the phone worked perfectly.
However I seem to have developed a new problem. The phone doesn't seem to be holding charge at all. Last night the phone was on 63% and was left for about 9 hours with wifi and data turned off. When I checked back this morning it was down to 4%. The whole reason I bought the phone was for the impressive battery life and I've never had any problems before this.
