Turn off charging light

Apart from the already documented Mic issue on Skype, I have another annoyance with the charging light.

is there a way of turning it off as I charge it overnight and it fills the room with an annoying red/green glow?

This one made me chuckle. If there isn't a way of turning it off, either cover the light with a towel, lay the tablet light tight against a wall or charge it in another room. All three would surely rid you of your plight.

I know it sounds like a daft request, glad it got a laugh. I could do without covering ig up, and putting it up against the wall still lights the wall up. Charging in a different location sort of avoids the issue by me changing where and how I use the tab.

If there is a way or even an app that can turn it off it would be great.

It's not possible to turn off the charging led light as default. I don't know if there are any apps that allows you turn this off but it's not possible as standard.
