Hmmmm I've been wondering, I noticed that the new software color reproduction on the Xperia Z Ultra uses the Triluminous Display (X-Reality on mobile) display, I noticed that its really software integrated in manipulation of the reds, greens and blues, I was wondering if it's possible if Sony can port that over to the Z and ZL :3 it looks really nice. I mean they probably won't but I was wondering if it's possible non the less o.o I mean it'll literally shut those "Poor viewing angles" Critiques up. They already sort of shut them up with the update to color reproduction it's much better when they updated to 10.1.1.A.1.303 and now even better in the 4.2.2 update O_O I'm wondering if they're slowly ninja-ing their way into releasing it to the phone secretly seeing that with every update the display looks even better.
What are your thoughts the public XD
Even if technically possible Sony won't do that. I am sure they are hoping existing customers will upgrade to their future triluminous display phones.
Yep,Sony wants consumer to buy new phones.
They constanly ignore the users of the old phones.
Well seeing how they are slowly getting rid of their old ways by pushing updates and being on time (some ahead of schedule) with updates, It seems likely that they're listening to the community now though. I'd really like the Triluminous display tech software to be ported to xperia Z and ZL it would be great!
However,it seems like the Triluminos tech is the combination of hardware and software. So it may not be compatible with Z and ZL which do not have the hardware to support.
The hardware well of the screen is the same as the Xperia Z, TFT LCD Panel OptiContrast design made. the ZL doesn't have OptiContrast however so I'm not sure if Triluminous would be compatible. Triluminous is software designed because it's based on the BE2 engine just software enhanced. I think it'll be possible.
It is said that BE2 has a chip embeded inside Z,and so does the Triluminos of Z Ultra.
Yes but Triluminous is built as a software into the BE2 chip so it'll be possible xD
Wow,that's a good news though. Hope Sony can hear our voices and take the advice. If Sony really want to retain customers or make consumers more loyal to the brand, it should take actions.
