Transparent part below shows like bubbles between

Hi,

I just got my Xperia U a week ago and never noticed it, but when I bought a case and it is held infront of a dark color, you see in the lower part (where the leds are lit up) like a kind of bubble.

It is like if you take two pieces of glass and a drop of water between them and that is the effect you have. I made some picture and circled them.

As I bought the phone at Amazon, they were so kind to send me a replacement, but that one also has it.

can anybody confirm me if they have it or if this is a manufactury fault? I don´t believe it will influid the funcionality of the phone, but still if it shouldn´t be there,I rather don´t have it.

I have a protection case, first I thought it might have cause by the pressure, but as the new one arrived yesterday I can leave that aside.

Dont worry bro. My LED bar also have this kind of bubble. It doesnt have any impact towards my phone or LED bar.

SONY Sevice Centers can change it.it's not a serious problem and also it's common problem but i know it's so anoying. If it's bothering you,just go to SONY Service Center and change it

I had changed, but the new one still have bubbles...

Yes, the second phone they send me (Amazon did) ALSO has the bubbles.

So it seems to be a commen problem then?

The second one also has less (maybe 10-20% less) of this. I suppose it isn´t important then, as I see more people have it and nobody does anything about it (neither Sony ha ha ha).

Still I wonder how it is possible this passes the QA check then?

It is like buying a car with scratches on it.

Would love to hear from somebody of SOny on this?

I do can ask Amazon to send me another Phone, until I have one without it. Should I do that?

Its just that the gum is wearing out.

Every Xperia U has that problem

just looks weird but I can live with that

No,don't do that.If its really bothering you,just go to SONY Service Center,i heard they can change it with a fine Transparent Bar ! But I suggest you give up about it

It isn´t really bothering me, now I know there are more people having this problem. And reading it here, nobody cares about it as it doesn´t affect the use of the phone.

I do will contact the seller. Althought I guess that AMAZON wonñt care about it and will send me a new one. And maybe that one will be alright.

The problem for me is that the nearest SONY Center is about 200 km from my place.

What I wonder is that why SONY doesn´t solve it, if more people have this problem.

Are you saying that the plastic stuff can be taken out and just plugged a new on in it?

Just got a new mail from Amazon. They said they will stop selling the product until they removed the fault of it. And then they will send me a new phone.

I heard that ! some guys in this forum said that SONY change this Transparent bar with a bubble Free one,but it's waste of time ...
Wow,Good for you.I Wish i could buy it from Amazon but it's restricted in my country !!!
BTW My Xperia U has Touch Screen Problems (It's another Xperia U's Common Issues) and nearest SONY Service Center is about 300 km from my place Sadly i have no choice !
