Transfering contacts through PC Companion

How shall I transfer contacts from my old phone to xperia tipo dual through PC Companion?

I mean from which old phone do you want to transfer the contacts to the Tipo? Whichever phone this is, you can use the SIM card, or the memory card if compatible. If you want to transfer them via PC companion and you have backed up your contacts onto it from your old phone, then connect your new phone to PC companion via USB and see if you can restore the back up onto it.

My old phone is Nokia 5130 and using memory card for data transfer. But while I connect with PC companion to PC, contacts setup is not visible as attached below:

As I understand it, you transferred your contacts from the Nokia to the Tipo via the memory card, and now you are trying to upload them onto PC companion from the Tipo? If that's the case, then I don't think that PC companion can read the contacts from the memory card, so you need to transfer them to phone memory first.

I've transferred to phone memory but stil not updated in contacts list. The file which I took backup & transferred is in 'XML' format, I can only view this and not in contacts...::smileyconfused:
