I have a Vivaz and cannot get TrackID to initiate an Internet connection with Orange Internet, although it works fine with Wifi. Mostly being out of range of any WiFi network, I need it to work with Orange Internet, when this is the only connection available.
Typical sequences:
1. WiFi available:
a. press "Start" to sample track, "Sampling music" is displayed.
b. When sampling has finished, "Waiting for response" displayed.
c. "Connecting" is then displayed, followed by "Select connection"
d. At this point I can select either WiFi, or (curiously enough) "Orange Internet" and will normally get a connection and response from TrackID.
2. No Wifi available:
a. press "Start" to sample track, "Sampling music" is displayed.
b. When sampling has finished, "Could not connect", followed by "Try again" displayed. After many attempts no connection can be made.
Note: My daughter has a Sony Ericsson C905 with Orange and TrackID works perfectly without WiFi. So is this a problem unique to the Vivaz, or are there other factors involved?

I noticed your post hasn't been answered, are you still experiencing this problem?
As the Track ID application is working correctly when connected via Wi-Fi, this would indicate an error in the Orange Internet settings you have installed on the handset. It may be that you are using a WAP profile rather than a full access account. I would recommend contacting Orange directly and requesting they provide you with a full access data account. They can send this automatically to the handset or talk you through a manual set-up.
