Touchscreen not working, But capacitive buttons are working fine

I own an xperia mini pro. I dropped it on the floor a while ago. After that the touchscreen became unresponsive. Display is fine though without any cracks. The capacitive buttons, back and menu and the bottom corners are working fine. I also noticed a blue focus square on the screen always whcih before dropping goes off when the keyboard is not slide out. Since the capacitive buttons are working fine,. can I assume that nothing bad happpened to the touchscreen?

I tried that. When I ran the service test for touch screen the screen is blank. Planning to take it to the service center today. Thanks

Took my phone to a service center. I was told that the touchscreen has to be replaced which costs 10k+  Slightly_frowning_Face
